I would like to wish Eid Mubarak to my family and relatives back home, friends, muslim readers of this website, and all of the muslim ummah in Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, and anywhere else in the world. Eid Mubarak from me in Auckland, New Zealand.

This Eid is the first of many things: the first I’m celebrating it overseas, the first time celebrating it without my family, the first time I made the Honey Cornflake sweets, the first time I made the traditional chicken rendang, peanut satay sauce, pressed rice (click “Read the rest of this entry” below for the pictures), and also my first Eid without buying any new clothes and apparels 😀

To those who are driving home to families and relatives, drive safely. May Allah keep us safe in health and in everything else.

Wishing every one of you a good, cheerful, and meaningful Eid-ul-fitr.
